Many cultures have collided and commingled to create New Mexico’s present-day identity. An important aspect of the museum’s collection is works that reflect this variety of perspectives over time, whether that of outsiders looking at native cultures, native cultures proudly asserting their own points-of-view, or the expression of common ground in reaction to historical events.
